Fibroblast is a new treatment where a plasma arc is used to create small injuries to the area.  It is a non-surgical skin tightening procedure, with similar results to a facelift!  The plasma arc brings the plasma to the surface of your skin and helps produce collagen in selected areas, and tightening skin causing a more youthful appearance.

You won't need to go under the knife to get a facelift, and unlike botox/dysport, or fillers, it can actually lift wrinkles out of the skin.  It may take more than 1 treatment to get the results you want to achieve, but after 1 session you will notice a difference, and tighter, brand new skin.

Fibroblast effects can improve over time, producing collagen, elasticity, and tightening to the area for up to 2 years!

This procedure can be uncomfortable, although we do apply topical numbing anesthetics before getting started.

The treatment can take from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on how large the area being treated is, and adding in approximately 30-40 minutes for numbing to set in.

Healing time for this procedure is usually from 5-7 days, however, full results and discoloration can take up to 8 weeks to adjust.  You may experience swelling, redness, itching during healing, flaking, and a sunburn like feeling.  You are provided with aftercare ointment, and icing the area and using Aloe vera can help with irritation.  The area is covered with small brown dots that will naturally shed revealing brand new tight skin.

Some things to look out for:

Smoking can cause slower healing, or people on blood thinners can cause more scabbing/bleeding

Taking vitamin C and avoiding sun or tanning in the area for a week prior can help healing.

Darker skin is not recommended for this as the skin healing can cause hyperpigmentation (lighter areas).

You should not get fibroblast if you are: pregnant or breastfeeding, have metal plates or implants, susceptible to hypertrophic scarring or keloid formation, if you suffer from autoimmune diseases, current or recent chemotherapy in the past 3 years, have a pacemaker or any implant with an electrical current, or any cardio-vascular deficiencies including uncontrolled blood pressure.  If you aren't sure if you are a candidate, we recommend speaking to you physician before receiving treatment.
